Obscure classic Texas style hard southern rock album from a Florida based 3-piece.
This was originally a very limited self produced LP, fans of Blackfoot take note, this one's for you!
If you like awesome '70's hard rock with cool lead guitars, throaty vocals and killer production, track this down.

I noticed that it says this band is from Florida, they are not. Also, I dont think you guys should be selling their CD without permission from the band itself. You can contact them on myspace,

The band Blackhorse is from Mineral Wells, Texas if I am not mistaken.

You are right they are from Mineral Wells, Tx. They played all around the Dallas Fort Worth area too. I went to see them every chance I could. At one point they went to California and went by the name of The Cause.

I have the Blackhorse LP signed by all three guys. I worked as a bartender at Spencer's Corner in Ft. Worth late 70s and they were once banned from the club because the rock n roll bar had a "No cowboy hats" policy and the drummer always wore one. Those dopes running the club (Spencer Taylor) would not back off the policy so Blackhorse wrote a tune (Sepnder's Corner) that called them out. Eventually they played there again in 1979 I believe. Best Texas local band by far. LIC from Houston was another really good local rock band mis to late 70s.

Nocona Texas class of '77 used to rock with them every time they played in Muenster, which was alot. They played at one of our class parties. We drank and partied with them on a first name basis. Great guys. Gary James was a madman. Album is awesome. Our class song was "Hell Hotel". We never missed them. Good times !
